So, my armor originally had the thigh pieces attached to the ab plate using elastic and velcro. The problem was that the elastic doesn’t hold the pieces high enough and I look like I have droopy drawers. Not a good thing for a stormtrooper.
So then I tried attaching the thigh pieces to a belt with nylon webbing. That didn’t pan out because the thigh pices just pulled the belt down and I had the same problem.
So now I have them attached to the ab plate again, but with the nylon webbing. Much better.
